Greetings on the 30th Anniversary of Tokyo Big Sight’s Opening

On April 1, 2026, Tokyo Big Sight will mark the significant milestone of its 30th anniversary.Since its opening in 1996, the venue has served as a stage for a wide variety of exhibitions, events, and international conferences from Japan and around the world, contributing to industrial development and the advancement of international exchange. We would like to express our sincere gratitude to all organizers, exhibitors, and partner companies who have supported us throughout these years.Over the past three decades, we have faced many challenges, including the global financial crisis, the Great East Japan Earthquake, and the spread of COVID-19.With the support of so many stakeholders, we have hosted approximately 7,800 events in total and welcomed more than 300 million visitors.
As a first step toward the next 30 years, we have established a new branding concept:
“Shaping the future with what only we can do.”
Even in an era of rapid digitalization, experiences that engage the five senses and face-to-face communication continue to grow in importance.By combining the value of real-world interaction with cutting-edge technologies, we will continue to pursue new forms of industrial exchange.Looking ahead, our key initiatives will focus on the following areas, based on a foundation of safe, secure, and comfortable facility operations:Creating higher-quality visitor experiences through the integration of digital and real environmentsPromoting the appeal of the Ariake area and enhancing its regional valueStrengthening sustainable venue managementTokyo Big Sight will continue to be a place where challenges are embraced and dreams are realized for the next 30 years. We remain committed to creating new value that only we can deliver, and we sincerely appreciate your continued support and cooperation.
