Recently, some clients who have exhibited at the Japan International Machine Tool Fair (JIMTOF) organized by us received the notice about the advertisement from "International Fairs Directory" by airmail, email and fax.
All the scam notice is written in English. At first glance, this is a guide to updating corporate information, but it is written that it is a paid service. If you sign and send back the document, you will receive a large bill at a later date.
It pretends to be a formal notice from JIMTOF management office. However, Tokyo Big Sight and JIMTOF management office are not related to it at all.
In addition to International Fairs Directory, similar scam notices from following companies about other trade fairs were reported in the past.
