JIMTOF 2026 Visitor Pre-registration Opens on Tuesday, September 1 / Details of keynote speeches featuring distinguished speakers and a wide range of programs are now available

 September 1, 2026 - JIMTOF2026 (The 33rd Japan International Machine Tool Fair), one of the world’s largest machine tool exhibitions, will be held for six days from Monday, October 26 to Saturday, October 31, 2026, at Tokyo Big Sight.

 Advance registration for JIMTOF2026 will begin at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, September 1. JIMTOF2026 will feature a rich program of events, including lectures and seminars by industry leaders, student-led initiatives aimed at young people who will shape the future of manufacturing, and special exhibitions where visitors can experience cutting-edge technologies firsthand.

1. Advance Visitor Registration
 Registration Period: Tuesday, September 1, 2026, 10:00 a.m. - Saturday, October 31, 2026, 3:00 p.m.
 Registration: Please register via the official JIMTOF website
 Admission Fee: Advance tickets: JPY 1,000 / On-site ticket: JPY 3,000 (tax included)
  *Free admission for guests with invitation tickets and students (student ID required)

2. Lectures and Seminars
 JIMTOF 2026 will feature a wide variety of lectures and seminars.
 We have prepared a rich and varied program unique to JIMTOF, featuring sessions where you can learn about the latest technologies and market trends in the manufacturing industry, as well as lectures by leading experts who have pioneered new frontiers, discussing business strategy and management. 3. Additive Manufacturing ZONE (AM ZONE)
 JIMTOF 2026 will feature the “Additive Manufacturing ZONE” as a special event.
 The market for additive manufacturing (AM) and 3D printing equipment is expanding year by year; it is considered a true growth industry and is attracting attention as an innovative technology in the manufacturing sector.
 Visitors will have the opportunity to experience the forefront of next-generation manufacturing through exhibits showcasing cutting-edge applications of additive manufacturing technologies. The program will also include seminars held in collaboration with Formnext, one of the world’s largest exhibitions dedicated to additive manufacturing.

4. Programs for Students
 JIMTOF2026 will offer a variety of programs for young people who will shape the future of manufacturing.
 The program will feature appearances by popular YouTuber Yobinori Takumi, as well as engineers working at the forefront of the aerospace industry, including professionals from JAXA. A wide range of activities is also planned, including hands-on manufacturing experiences, networking opportunities with exhibiting companies, and a dedicated JIMTOF INSIGHTS booth linked to the JIMTOF YouTube channel.

5. Special Exhibits
 The special exhibition at the East Exhibition Hall will feature machine tools that underpin Japan’s robotics industry, focusing on the machining processes required for the humanoid technology roadmap and how machine tool technology can achieve breakthroughs in overcoming the barriers to mass production and cost reduction.
 At the South Exhibition Halls, a special exhibit will showcase collaboration between skilled craftspeople and robots in “kisage” (hand scraping), a precision finishing technique essential to maintaining the accuracy of machine tools. The exhibit will explore the future of machine tools through the integration of human craftsmanship and robotics. We are also holding a hands-on “kisage” workshop, where visitors can rediscover the essence, thrill, and wonder of manufacturing.
